My creative journey began in the disciplines of graphic design, advertising, and branding, running parallel to a lifelong obsession with photography. Having cut my teeth in the era of darkrooms and large-format film, I developed a foundational reverence for light, composition, and the deliberate mechanics of image-making. When the digital revolution arrived, I embraced it early, merging traditional discipline with new technological frontiers in photography and videography.

A cancer diagnosis (AML) over a decade ago altered my trajectory entirely, serving as a profound catalyst for my life and work. Throughout my ongoing recovery, art transformed from a professional skill into a vital mechanism for healing and self-expression. Even during the most challenging chapters of this journey, my imagination, the studio remained a space of purpose, where I could explore, test, and realise new creative ideas. Finding solace in the endeavour of creativity with a blank canvas or behind a camera.

Today, my work sits at the intersection of design precision and the raw, transformative power of visual art. Every piece is an exploration of that balance in the time left. It is just something I have to do.
